Our stone-ground buckwheat flour is a brilliant choice for gluten-sensitive bakers or anyone after a wholesome pantry staple. It’s rich in fibre, protein, magnesium, and iron, helping support digestion, muscle function, and overall vitality.
Despite the name, buckwheat isn’t a cereal grain—it’s a pseudo-cereal from the flowering plant Fagopyrum esculentum. That means it’s naturally gluten-free, making it a go-to for alternative baking. The flavour is gently nutty and earthy, lending depth to pancakes, crepes, muffins, or even rustic pastries. It can be used alone or mixed with other flours to suit your recipe.
